2023-2024 Recital/Performance Information
Recitals: Dancers are assumed to be participating in our Holiday Performance and our annual June recital unless they have opted out in email. Families may need to attend more than one show in order to see all their dancer's/dancers' dances. Tickets will need to be purchased for each performance. An email with details will be sent out as we get closer to each performance.
Holiday Performance: TBD (Tentative Dec 14th)
June Recital: TBD (Tentative June 7th)
Costumes: Costumes are required for each routine that a student will be performing in the year end recital. Your costume fee is broken into 10 monthly payments which is included in your monthly tuition. Costume payments do not include shoes which need to be purchased separately. However, tights will be included in your recital package. Costumes and music are at the discretion of our studio teachers and owners.
**All tuition, late fees, and other balances must be paid in order to receive your costume. If not, this may result in you not receiving your recital costume in time for the pictures or the recital.
2023-2024 Dress Code

2024-2025 Policies
Safety: With the safety of our families a number one priority, NDA is very serious about upholding Child Protection laws and policies within the studio as well as at public performances and in the online arena (website and social media).
As part of your registration, you will have read and signed a media waiver allowing us to proudly use images and video footage of your student for advertising and promotional purposes. Should you have any concerns whatsoever with signing this declaration, please see Miss Noelle who will happily assist you.
The directors and staff at NDA are educated in the negative impact of inappropriate music and costume selection when it comes to performing dance routines and are wholeheartedly committed to ensuring children in all of our dance routines are not subjected to any inappropriate songs or costuming. We recognize that songs with sexist, explicit, violent, racist, homophobic or criminal content may influence our dancers and/or audience and will strive to avoid using such music. We are committed to restricting costumes that project sexuality, contain explicit graphic or textual content.
Privacy: When you purchase or hire a product or service with NDA, the information we may collect from you includes your name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses, medical information and credit card or bank details. It may also include details of the products and services we provide to you as well as the status of your enrollment. We only collect information directly from our students or their parents/guardians primarily for the purpose of providing services and products to you and to administer and manage invoicing and debt collection. We may occasionally use your information to promote and market to you information which we consider may be of interest to you unless you contact us and tell us not to do so. We will never sell or pass on any of your information to third parties unless required by government authorities or in the event of debt recovery. Any information passed on will be done so with appropriate privacy and confidentiality protection. Information is stored securely in electronic form and is accessible only by authorized personnel. If you would like to know what information we hold about you or wish to update the information, or if you wish to be removed from all further direct marketing communications, please email us at [email protected].
Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events: It is the responsibility of the parents to be aware of all dance studio activities, such as recitals, opening or closings, and picture days. The studio notices are posted on the lobby bulletin board, the website, and in the newsletters emailed out weekly. Please notify us in writing if your address, e-mail address, or telephone number has changed.
Levels and Placement: Each student is closely evaluated by the faculty and director. Once the dancers progress beyond the combo classes, students do not move up to the next level according to age or the amount of years that they have studied dance. They must be able to execute proper technique of each movement for that level. It is extremely important that dancers are placed in a level that is appropriate for them, as frustration and even injury may occur.
Attendance: Attendance and participation is imperative for a dance student to progress. Proper technique and dance skills are accomplished through practice and patience. Advancement to the next level may not be possible due to poor attendance. IF a dancer has inconsistent attendance, participation in the recital is solely at the discretion of the teachers and the studio director. No refunds on missed classes nor on costume purchases.
Behavior: Unruly behavior in the classroom will not be tolerated. Dance is a physical activity that requires discipline. Students can easily injure themselves if they do not follow directions or stay focused during class time. If a teacher is having a problem with your child; you will be contacted so that we can hopefully fix the problem together. Safety is our primary concern and one of the many reasons we limit class size.
Anti-Bullying Policy: Prohibition of Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying NDA is committed to a safe and civil educational environment for all students, employees, volunteer and patrons, free from harassment, intimidation or bullying. “Harassment, intimidation or bullying” means any intentional written, verbal, or physical act, when the intentional written, verbal, or physical act: • Physically harms a student or damages the student’s property; or • Has the effect of substantially interfering with a student’s education; or • Is severe, persistent, or pervasive that it creates an intimidating or threatening educational environment; or • Has the effect of substantially disrupting the orderly operation of the school.
Holidays, Inclement Weather, or Other Cancellations: We do not follow Gloucester County Public School systems holiday closing schedule. We also do not follow the public schools snow closures. A decision will be made by 8:30 AM for morning classes and by 3:00 PM for evening classes. Closings will be on the studio voicemail, social media and the website. There is one snow cancellation included in the tuition. If an additional class is cancelled, students may attend a similar class for a makeup. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather.
Care of Students: Noelle's Dance Academy cannot be responsible for the care of students before or after class. For the children’s safety, we also ask that parents come into the studio to pick them up. We do not allow children to go into the parking lot unaccompanied by an adult. Please arrive promptly at the end of your child’s class. After a 10-minute grace period, a $15 late pickup fee is charged to your account. Parking on the curb is prohibited.
PET Policy: No pets allowed at our facility. Please leave your fur babies at home as we are unaware of any pet allergies with our Students or Parents.
